It is very important to properly support installed piping. Improperly supported pipe can result in the transmission of excessive noise into the frame of the building, reoccurring leaks, cracking, and, in extreme cases, buckling. Pipe should be supported by some type of commercial pipe hangers. There are a variety of systems on the market, and any one can be effective in this role.
